Q: How can I place a catering order or book Chef Cassandra?

A: You can place an order or book an In-Home Personal Chef by calling or texting 407-494-1638 or by emailing 

doxaeats@gmail.com or filling out this booking form!

 

Q: When can I place a catering order?

A:  All catering orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance. Orders placed less than 2 weeks out are based on availability (please reach out to Chef Cassandra directly to confirm your requested date is available) and will be subject to additional charges (rush order fee).

Q: When can I book Chef Cassandra?

A:  All In-Home Chef bookings must be booked at least 7 days in advance. Any bookings less than 7 days out will be subject to additional charges (last minute booking fee).

Q: What does PP mean?

A: Per Person (in reference to pricing)

 

Q: How much is the delivery or travel fee?

A: Starting at $50+ depending on your order size and location. Starting rate covers Orlando area and surrounding cities.

Q: Do you accommodate catering requests outside of the Orlando area? 

A: Yes. We travel all over the Central Florida area and beyond. Minimum spend amount applies. Client is responsible for all travel costs including rental car and/or airfare and hotel accommodations.

 

Q: What’s required to secure my catering order or Chef booking? 

A: 50% nonrefundable deposit is due to secure your booking date and remaining balance is due 7 days prior to event date.

 

Q: Is there anything you need regarding AirBnB kitchen requirements? 

A: Please ensure your home or AirBnb has a fully functioning kitchen along with potware, dinnerware, silverware and glassware available for Chef's use.

Q: How long is a Brunch or Dinner service for In-Home Private Chef?

A: My team and I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to your service start time (the time you and your guests eat) and we break down 1 hour after service start time and depart 2 hours after service start time.

Q: How many servings can I eat with buffet-style set up for your In-Home Private Chef services?

A: Everyone is guaranteed one full plate or serving. There may or may not be enough for a 2nd or 3rd plate or serving depending on the menu items.

Q: I have a few extra friends/family in my vacation home that came to visit last minute and were not included in the initial booking for In-Home Private Chef services. Can I offer them some food since it seems there's enough for extras?

A: Unfortunately, no extra persons can partake of the food if they've not paid upfront. The food brought and prepared by the Chef is designated only for the amount of exact number of guests specified on the booking invoice. Please respect my business and the services being provided in your home by my Staff and I. Under no circumstances should there be more people eating the food provided. Extra payment will not be accepted on the day of your event for any extra persons. This scenario will result in an  immediate cancellation of your event and my staff and I will depart promptly.

Q: Can you hold my date for me without a deposit?

A: Unfortunately, no dates can be held or reserved without a deposit.

 

Q: Can I pick up my catering order?

A: Free local pick-up is available upon request. Location provided after booking is confirmed.

Q: Can I purchase groceries for Chef Cassandra to cook?

A: Unfortunately, the Chef cannot prepare your meal with any previously purchased groceries due to liability reasons. Part of your Chef experience includes grocery shopping by the Chef. The Chef will arrive at your location with every single ingredient needed in order to prepare your meal.

Q: Do you offer children discounts?

A: Not at this time. Full price is required for each and every single person (regardless of age) partaking in any On-Site Personal Chef services. Children 3 and under are free.

​

Q: Do you have Holiday rates?

A: Yes. There is a rate increase of 25% to 50% on all Holiday bookings.

 

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Doxa Eats Catering accepts Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, CashApp, Apple Pay, Cash & Checks made payable to Doxa Eats Catering Company LLC.

Q: Do you offer tasting events?

A: Tasting events are not being offered at this time.

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Notices of cancellations must be received in writing via email and/or text. All deposits are nonrefundable and by default are forfeited upon cancellation for any reason, including Covid-19 virus concerns/guest(s) personal health status or concerns. All event deposits are automatically forfeited in full, as it is almost impossible to replace your event date after booking and preparations begin as soon as the first deposit is made which makes for a significant loss of income due to many other inquiries being sent away due to a full calendar day/night booked.

 

Please note: All deposits are nonrefundable. No exceptions. However, Chef Cassandra will work with you to reschedule within a reasonable time frame, if applicable.

 

If Chef Cassandra needs to cancel, all amounts paid towards your event minus any payment processing fees will be refunded to Client.
